Talent Acquisition Specialist-FT-Days-HR

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for coordinating recruitment activities, collaborating with hiring managers, and providing consultative expertise to attract qualified candidates, particularly in nursing positions.

Responsibilities
Promotes the facility mission, vision and values by effectively communicating them to others. Considers mission, vision and values in developing services, standards and practices
Responsible for the sourcing, recruitment, and selection of new employees and internal applicants for assigned areas of responsibility typically high volume positions
Collaborate with the hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies
Frequently interviews potential candidates. Selects most qualified candidates for further review by hiring manager
Establishes focused recruiting plans and identifies new avenues to expand the applicant pool. Coordinates and conducts regular networking efforts to improve the quality and quantity of applicants
Screens, interviews, reference and extends offers for administrative, management, advanced practice, Home Care and other nursing positions both in and outside the Nursing Department
Recruit, screen, interview, and refer applicants for employment to hiring Directors
Interface with advertising and other agencies in order to coordinate marketing materials, brochures and give-a-ways
Attends programs that enhance human resource knowledge and skills and provide opportunities to keep current with labor law and new federal regulations that affect hiring practices

Qualification
Required
HS Diploma/ GED required
Excellent organizational skills, and multi-tasking
Good written and verbal communicational skills
Exhibits computer literacy of current computer software (Microsoft Office Suite)
Must be familiar with social media
Must be tech savvy
Demonstrates capability to work in a fast-paced environment
Bilingual – English/ Spanish
Must be able to occasionally travel, sometimes including overnight stays
Knowledge of State, Federal, and JCAHO regulations
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent (working on obtaining Bachelor's Degree)
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Human Resources
Previous experience in Recruitment
Minimum of one (1) year of previous nurse recruitment experience
