Building and scaling Oracle’s Optical Transport Network
Engineering and development of optical transport solutions and systems
FOA deployment of optical transport solutions and systems
Delivering optical capacity and engineering solutions to support Oracle’s cloud infrastructure
Providing metro optical transport solutions in support of the needs of the network
Driving down costs for equipment and services for metro and optics
Training other teams to deploy and operate optical systems
Providing operations support to ensure availability and uptime of the metro network
Qualification
Required
3 to 5+ years of experience in optical engineering
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Experience in engineering and development of optical transport solutions and systems
Experience with FOA deployment of optical transport solutions
Ability to provide operations support to ensure availability and uptime of the metro network
Ability to train other teams to deploy and operate optical systems
