Responsibilities

Manage a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and growth
Oversee the design and implementation of UI and backend solutions using modern frameworks and technologies, stepping in to code when necessary
Work with cross-functional teams—product managers, designers, and other leaders—to define product strategy, set technical direction, and deliver innovative features
Own the team roadmap and project lifecycle, ensuring that initiatives move from ideation to successful production launches
Coach junior engineers, support professional development, and cultivate an environment where everyone can excel
Define success metrics to track and evaluate project outcomes, using data-driven insights to guide future decisions
Provide guidance on architecture, design, and best practices for front-end and back-end development
Play a pivotal role in hiring top engineering talent and expanding the team’s capabilities

Required

5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience and a proven track record leading the development of scalable, web-based solutions
Experience with modern UI frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, or similar), TypeScript, Node.js, and Python
Comfortable with AI technologies, including GenAI concepts like prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and fine-tuning
2+ years of managing engineering teams, with success in coaching, mentoring, and nurturing talent
Ability to navigate ambiguity, make data-driven decisions, and deliver impactful results in a fast-paced environment
Adept at driving product innovation and ensuring that technical decisions align with broader business goals

Preferred

BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Proven success in recruiting, managing performance, and cultivating a positive team culture
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
