Responsibilities

Provide overall leadership and strategic oversight to initiative management , structure, approach, and reporting for entire food & beverage operations
Develop and drive planning of new opportunities
Direct budgeting process and daily management of budgets, analyzing fluctuations, and instituting changes/enhancements as necessary with Board approval
Responsible for strategic planning, financial analysis and planning, budgets, inventory control, sanitation and safety, training and development, staffing, and employee relations
Collaborates with team to develop appetizing menus for dining service and all events
Works with team member(s) in connection with event planning
Manage initial and ongoing relationships with vendors
Ability to utilize POS system (TouchBistro) and inventory software systems
Lead and oversee daily operation of the Food & Beverage business with a focus on staffing, revenue and margin generation, controls, and performance
Responsible for the overall Member experience, communication of goals and expectations, and ensuring operating and safety standards are maintained
Interact with Team Members and drive development of the team through continuous training and role modeling
Monitor equipment and infrastructure needs to generate growth
Responsible for adherence and interaction with applicable regulatory agencies and requirements
Handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner
Responsible for adherence to the governing documents, guidelines, rules, and regulations of the community and be the Manager on Duty (MOD) after standard HOA business hours
Facilitates quick and efficient communication between front and back of house team members
Partners with the Community Manager/Lifestyle Director to identify, coordinate and market all community events, programs, and services
Prepares and submits operations’ reports and other documentation requested by the Board of Directors

Required

At least two years experience in restaurant operations
Must have necessary licensing and qualifications for food and alcohol service
Must have restaurant inventory experience
Must have volunteer coordination experience
Ability to work onsite and be open to a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
Previous Leadership over a team of people in Food & Beverage required
Ability to work flexible shift if needed
Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift up to 60 lbs., up to 30 lbs. frequently and up to 10 lbs. constantly. Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, lifting, and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting
