Responsibilities
On-site survey, investigation, and documentation of existing conditions and electrical system malfunctions
Preparation of field notes and technical and investigative reports to support forensics findings
Preparation of materials related to presentations
Review and research applicable building codes, NEC standards, and all other applicable industry standards, etc
Create drawings and specifications and perform construction administration services
Assist the engineering team in the review of reports, plans and specifications
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required
Ability to clearly express engineering opinions and conclusions, in writing, and support these conclusions/opinions with facts and sound engineering principles
Ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines, meet deadlines, and travel to work sites as required
Be familiar and comfortable with Microsoft Suite programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CAD programs (i.e. AutoCAD)
Preferred
Engineer In Training (E.I.T.) Certification is desired
Familiarity with any of the following programs is a plus, but not required: Revit, MicroStation, and Bluebeam
Interest in renewable energy systems including photovoltaic arrays, wind turbines, and hydroelectric generator is highly desirable
