Responsibilities
Develop and communicate the product vision, aligning it with business goals and customer needs
Own, prioritize, and refine the Product Backlog (the master list of features/work) to ensure the highest value items are always at the top
Gather requirements, feedback, and insights from customers and business stakeholders, translating them for the development team
Focus on delivering the most valuable product increment in each Sprint
Define acceptance criteria for features and decide when a feature is complete and ready for release
Clearly communicates the product goal and defines product backlog items
Orders and refines the product backlog, often with input from the Developers
Collects and incorporates feedback from stakeholders and users
Agrees on the Sprint Goal with the Developers
Facilitates Scrum events like Sprint Planning, the Daily Scrum, and the Sprint Retrospective
Removes impediments and obstacles that hinder the team's progress
Coaches the team in self-organization and cross-functionality
Protects the team from outside interference
Helps the entire organization understand and adopt Scrum
