Responsibilities
Lead Complex Network Automation Transformations
Design and implement sophisticated solutions
Mentor junior engineers
Serve as the technical expert on projects involving firewall automation, load balancer orchestration, cloud network integration, and compliance automation
Collaborate with architects on solution design
Help customers achieve unprecedented ROI through automation
Influence product roadmap with field insights
Represent Itential's technical excellence in customer engagements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in information technology, telecommunication, computer science, related field or relevant experience required
5+ years in Network Automation required
Proficiency in Ansible, Linux, Python Scripting, Jinja2, REST APIs, JSON, SSH
Understanding of network devices and configurations across Firewalls, switches, routers, cloud networks, load balancers, etc. with vendors such as: Palo Alto, F5, Cisco, Arista
Familiar with infrastructure and change management platforms such as: Infoblox, NetBox, ServiceNow
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively work with clients
Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach in identifying and delivering automation opportunities
Strong organizational skills with a commitment to delivering quality solutions
Confluence, Jira, Git, Pipelines
Preferred
Advanced certifications in networking or automation technologies
Knowledge of Terraform and cloud networking environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Hands-on experience with the Itential Platform
Experience leading customer implementations and technical workshops
