Responsibilities
Provide coordination of all coalition activities
Understanding of policies, environmental and systems change
Work with partners and stakeholders to develop a work plan and implement
Oversee the implementation of coalition activities
Work with partners to ensure required outcomes are achieved
Recruit new coalition members
Develop and maintain a social media presence
Supervise interns and volunteers as needed for projects
Represent the agency in relevant community meetings
Attend internal and external meetings and trainings as required by the agency and its funders
Responsible for the timely collection and submission of program reports and data
Responsible for the timely submission of all agency paperwork in accordance with agency policies
Responsible for promoting the values of safety, cooperation, communication and inclusiveness in all agency activities
Qualification
Required
Commitment to community collaboration
Understanding of and ability to work through a health equity framework
Knowledge of social media
Ability to develop and maintain relationships
Excellent writing, oral, computer and interpersonal skills
Commitment to the goals and mission of the agency
Supports the mission and goals of the agency
Preferred
BA/BS in public health, human services, social work or a related field is preferred
Experience with Evidence Based Programming is preferred
Experience with programs involving policy change, communication, strategic planning and community mobilization to change community norms preferred
