Responsibilities
Conduct product, process, or RCCA investigations and provide technical assistance of resolutions
Conduct internal & external audits and provide objective evidence of compliance
Conduct source inspection and assist with Supplier Development at Supplier Facility; including documentation/certification review, dimensional inspection, and complete conformance to purchase order requirement as necessary
Review technical requirements and approve purchase orders to ensure technical requirements are flowed down
Write and revise quality procedures as necessary
Assist Quality Manager with developing and implementing quality programs, including tracking, analyzing, and reporting KPI’s
Write and follow up on internal and external corrective actions for root cause analysis
Analyze, identify, and implement manufacturing and/or business process improvements
Perform initial investigation of customer warranty claims
Provide support in the way of development and evaluation of process capability, process control plans, analysis of out-of-control conditions, and process audits
Develop, implement, and audit inspection and test plans, acceptance criteria, and process/work instructions
Assist in establishing technical advice & maintaining an atmosphere of continuous improvement to cross-functional teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required in Engineering or other related technical field
Thorough knowledge of CNC Machining, Engineering Drawing, GD&T, surface treatments, grinding, and NDT as it relates to component manufacturing
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to make critical decisions and problem-solve
