Analyst- Environmental, Health and Safety
Group 1 Automotive, Inc. is a Fortune 250 company with significant annual revenues, operating automotive dealerships and collision centers. The EHS Analyst will support the development and improvement of the company's Environment, Health & Safety performance metrics and programs, enabling data-driven decision-making across all locations.

Responsibilities
Maintain safety training content (e.g., onboarding, eLearning, toolbox talks); track LMS metrics and support continuous improvement in training delivery
Aggregate EHS data from dealership and regional safety teams
Maintain EHS dashboard; publish monthly scorecards and reports
Conduct trend analysis on safety incidents, injuries and vehicle incidents
Support compliance monitoring and flag overdue items
Track audits and corrective actions; escalate issues
Help manage third party or in-house EHS management software; maintain data accuracy
Collaborate with Ops, HR, Risk, and Legal teams
Identify safety trends and improvement areas
Other duties, as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
2–4 years of analytical experience, safety data experience a plus
Advanced Excel skills
Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
Able to handle sensitive data objectively
Strong analytical and executive‑level communication skills
Ability to travel 30–40%
Preferred
Power BI or Tableau
Familiarity with Safety regulatory compliance OSHA, EPA, OSHA 300 logs or audit processes
