Required

Bachelor's Degree or higher degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience desired
3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis
Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques
Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs
Ability to adapt documents and presentations for the intended audience
Demonstrates both empathy and assertiveness when communicating a need or defending a position
Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis
Ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions
Ability to seek discrepancies and inconsistencies in available information and explain variances
Ability to quantify the costs, benefits, risks, and chances for success before recommending a course of action
Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy
Ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision
Ability to process large quantities of detailed information with high levels of accuracy balanced with speed
Knowledge of effective self-management practices
Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities
Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis
Ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material
Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques

Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools
Ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes
Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting
Ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports

Preferred

Experience in analysis and/or forecasting for department budgets, programs, product lines, or business units
Advanced MS Excel skills, including experience with database/analytical add-in tools such as Oracle/Hyperion Smart View
Experience developing and presenting executive-level financial presentations using MS PowerPoint
