Responsibilities
Large, complex systems projects in a regulated environment, driving all aspects of project lifecycle management from program initiation to closure to realize the strategic objectives of the Core Lab business
Managing substantial project budgets and resources
Delivering on all phase gates of a project including but not limited to quality and schedule deliverables
Managing stakeholders including clear communication of progress/risks to Integrated Business Planning (IBP) governance teams
Ensuring team compliance to Product Delivery Excellence (PDx)
Qualification
Required
Comprehensive experience in Project Management disciplines for Medical Devices, including ample experience in managing complex software, hardware and system Product Development projects
The ability to assess/align projects to our organizational strategy and project business case to maintain the Project Value Proposition
Experience working with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies to develop, implement and manage detailed project plans including timelines, resources and budgets
Required knowledge to ensure that project activities comply with FDA and other regional regulatory requirements
The ability to analyze project constraints and risks to identify mitigations and opportunities
Strong leadership and communication skills
Experience working with 3rd party external partners and OEMs
Technical bachelor's degree such as in Engineering or Life Sciences required
10+ years of experience in product development project management with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects
5+ years of experience in a regulated environment such as the life sciences, pharmaceutical or medical device industries, preferably Lab Diagnostics
Preferred
