Administrative Assistant I - Part-Time

Responsibilities
Perform a variety of general clerical duties in support of an assigned department, division, or program area
Receive and direct telephone calls and visitors
Receive, route, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
Prepare and enter a variety of data
Provide information to other agencies, City staff, and the general public
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED equivalent
One year of increasingly responsible clerical, administrative, and/or customer service experience
Possession of a valid Class C California Driver's License and ability to maintain a satisfactory driving record are required
Preferred
Local government experience is desirable
