$24.76/hr - $42.62/hrCDM Smith is looking for a Civil Engineering intern to join their Water Services team in Carlsbad. In this role, you will assist with various projects and tasks including research, data collection, and design work under the supervision of senior engineers.
Responsibilities
Assisting with engineering designs involving site layout development, site grading and drainage, hydraulics and hydrology calculations, water distribution systems, collection systems, stormwater infrastructure and treatment and solid waste facilities
Evaluating data to determine usability for modeling and analyses to support planning and design projects
Assisting with site visits/reviews and fieldwork to collect additional data
Helping with data compilation, data organization, basis calculations and analysis, preparation of technical documents and reports to disseminate information
May be exposed to ArcGIS, AutoCAD and Microsoft programs to present, analyze and manage data
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled and taking courses toward a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering degree
