Responsibilities

Conduct trend and market research to identify emerging silhouettes, materials, color, and customer preferences

Assist with sketching, updating CADs, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date line sheets using Adobe Illustrator

Help create and revise garment construction pages and tech packs

Participate in fit sessions, take clear notes, and help communicate revisions to relevant partners

Assist with day-to-day design tasks and special initiatives that help drive seasonal collections forward

Required

Currently pursuing a degree in Fashion Design

Strong passion for design and a solid understanding of current fashion trends, with an eye for detail, proportion, and color

Demonstrates the ability to collaborate effectively within a team while also taking initiative and working independently

Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills

Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

Preferred

Knowledge of the J.Jill customer, aesthetic, and product categories
