The Attorney will negotiate and resolve pending litigation, prepare and file legal documents, and represent clients in hearings and trials.

Responsibilities
Negotiate and resolve pending litigation
Prepare, review, and file pleadings, discovery, and motions
Attend hearings and trials within your assigned region (mileage and travel expenses reimbursed)
Collaborate with staff and opposing counsel to achieve fair, efficient case resolutions
Qualification
Required
Active law license in the listed state of reference
Strong organizational and case management skills
Familiarity with courtroom and civil procedures
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using technology
Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism in all interactions
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
Demonstrated ability to analyze cases and negotiate effective settlements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and client service
Preferred
Collection or litigation experience preferred — industry training provided for the right candidate
