Senior Compensation Consultant

Phoenix Children's is a leading pediatric health system dedicated to providing exceptional care for children and their families. The Senior Compensation Consultant will provide compensation consultation to HR leadership, conduct compensation surveys, and assist in job description development and administration.

Responsibilities

Provides guidance and recommendations to leadership and HR Divisional Directors on pay decisions, policies, and guideline interpretation, including the design of creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs
Monitors internal equity and application of compensation policies and practices. Conducts benchmark surveys annually and as needed; evaluates and recommends job grade assignment consistent with current market data
In collaboration with HR Division Directors, provides guidance and support to leadership with job description development, evaluation, and maintenance
Creates and maintains job codes, salary grades, position control and FLSA status for all positions. Reviews compensation-related Personnel Action Forms and hire-in rates to ensure accurate compensation administration
Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
Seven (7) years of relevant data analysis experience
Three (3) years of progressively responsible compensation experience
Strong consultative and influencing ability to partner with leadership, clearly explain compensation concepts, and guide decision-making
Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving ability to interpret data, assess risk and impact, and develop thoughtful, well-reasoned recommendations

Preferred

Masters Degree in Business or Human Resources
Experience with Workday, Lawson, or other HRIS applications
Healthcare experience
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
