Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted advisor to business leadership
Support complex cloud technology transactions
Find and develop innovative solutions to scale legal support
Primary transactional drafting and negotiation responsibilities on deals
Provide ongoing legal counsel and contract interpretation guidance
Participate in AWS legal workstreams
Manage legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships
Advise on risk related to new business initiatives
Handle pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
2+ years of legal experience
Preferred
Experience with in-house work at a technology or internet company
Knowledge of IT infrastructure, outsourcing, telecommunications, cloud computing services or equivalent
Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Experience drafting and negotiating complex contracts
