Intern, Architect Large-Scale AI Cluster Designs & Analysis of AI Workloads
Ayar Labs is the global leader in optical I/O chiplets, focusing on revolutionizing AI compute hardware through silicon photonics. The intern will work with the architecture team to deploy inference workloads on data center clusters and collaborate on designing large-scale AI compute clusters.

Responsibilities
Deploy inference workloads on data center clusters and benchmark the performance
Collaborate on the design of large-scale AI compute clusters with Ayar Labs’ in-package silicon photonic technology
Qualification
Required
Actively pursuing a B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent
Familiar with network topologies such as TOR-Leaf-Spine, folded Clos, HyperX, Torus, Dragonfly, etc
Strong programming skills in Python; familiar with a network simulator such as gem5 or BookSim is a strong plus
Experience in deploying AI workloads on different data center platforms and benchmarking the performance
The ideal candidate is an independent and highly-motivated student who is able to work collaboratively and independently, and can self-manage time effectively to take projects to completion
