Responsibilities
Analyze and classify business and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives and risk mitigation
Design scalable software solutions, converting high-level designs into detailed functional components
Develop, configure, and maintain clean, testable code adhering to coding standards and security policies
Build automation scripts to streamline continuous integration and delivery processes
Execute and support comprehensive testing strategies to identify and resolve defects
Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective maintenance
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet business needs and technical specifications
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related area
5 years' experience in software engineering or related area
Proven expertise in software development with proficiency in Python, SQL, and API integration
Strong knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices
Experience designing scalable, distributed systems with attention to non-functional requirements such as security, availability, and maintainability
Ability to analyze and translate business requirements into detailed technical designs and user stories
Skilled in debugging, integration testing, and defect management using modern tools and frameworks
Familiarity with cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks
Commitment to delivering high-quality, testable, and maintainable code aligned with business objectives
Preferred
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area
Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly
Knowledge of accessibility best practices and Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture
