Responsibilities
Attend and network at financial, legal and estate planning industry events
Coordinate investment and distribution activities – interact with families and their trusted advisors to implement investment strategies and manage cash flow
Assist with new account on-boarding and set-up
Coordinate all facets of trust administration – cash management, tax planning and investment policy implementation
Participate in internal & external training programs to understand, and improve upon, the unique elements of our directed trust business
Coordinate directions from investment / discretionary distribution advisors
Oversee compliance and tax filing procedures
Coordinate new investment set-up / asset additions
Qualification
Required
Entrepreneurial attitude with good communication skills and a 'roll-up your sleeves' mentality
5+ years' experience in a financial institution, accounting firm, or management consulting firm
Ability to grasp the broad range of trust administration and the operational / compliance requirements of a directed trust company
Ability to deal with ambiguity, solve problems, and make progress under limited direction
Client relationship management experience
Preferred
Management experience with direct reports or junior team members a plus
