FCC Environmental Services is a global team of passionate waste industry professionals, and they are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join their team. The role involves inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems in various vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical systems
Perform preventative maintenance (PM) services on diesel vehicles and equipment
Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and fuel system issues
Test drive vehicles to ensure proper repair and functionality
Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation
Use diagnostic tools and software to identify faults and issues
Order parts and assist in inventory management as needed
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
Communicate with service advisors or customers regarding repairs and timelines
Keep work area clean and organized
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience as a diesel technician or similar role
Strong understanding of diesel engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, and diagnostic tools
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
Proficient with hand tools and power tools
Strong problem-solving and time management skills
Valid driver's license
Preferred
Technical school or diesel mechanic certification
CDL may be required or preferred
