Software Developer - Additive Manufacturing Workflows

PanOptimization is a quickly expanding business focused on developing industry-leading thermomechanical Finite Element Analysis (FEA) technology for Additive Manufacturing applications. The Software Developer will be responsible for creating and ensuring the quality of GUIs and APIs for commercial simulation software, while collaborating with users to enhance software usability and workflows.

Responsibilities

Develop API and GUI functionality for PanX FEA Software for stand-alone use and for integration into commercial build-prep processors
Work directly with users to understand requirements and gather feedback related to software useability and workflows
Performs pre-release GUI/API testing/QA to ensure interface quality

Qualification

Additive ManufacturingPythonC++VTKQtComputer Science degree

Required

ITAR Compliance: All applicants for this position must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of ITAR
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States full-time
Infrequent day and overnight travel may be required; some sporadic, international travel may be necessary
BS/MS in Computer Science or a closely related field
Experience with Additive Manufacturing
Experience with programming (Python, VTK, Qt, C, C++)
