Responsibilities

Building relationships and growing business in the Land Development sector

Meeting with existing and potential clients in the development community for business development purposes

Attending functions outside of normal business hours to represent LJA at various events / seminars / workshops

Supporting land development entitlement activities. Strategize, solve problems, and serve as a trusted advisor to the client

Leading and managing the executions of land development projects

Developing project scope, budget, and schedule

Managing design team's performance on assigned projects

Assisting in the development of intermediate and long-range plans for systems operation, maintenance, and expansion to ensure adequate services to customers

Reviewing and recommending payment for damage claims against the company to ensure company position is consistent and legally defensible

Reviewing major work orders. Approve and justify construction budgets and operations budgets

Participating in strategic planning activities and annual financial budget

Building the culture of the local Land Development practice

Preparing reports for and advise senior management on a regular basis regarding the activities of the department

Required

Bachelor's Degree Required

P.E. License

5+ year's managerial experience

20+ years of experience in Land Development engineering

Proficiency in appropriate software for the market
