Responsibilities

Provide engineering support to both process / product development to drive efforts to design, develop, validate, and continuously improve manufacturing processes

Develop & define production control methods to monitor process output and establish critical supplier metrics

Define and coordinate the design and development of manufacturing fixturing and test equipment

Coordinate with R&D at suitable stages to optimize the design for manufacturing and reliability

Perform or direct DOE, correlation studies and apply statistical analysis for product and process improvements

Support manufacturing development and transfer of knowledge at contract manufacturers

Required

Working on getting a technical degree with hands-on experience associated to engineering

Knowledge of Machine Shop fabrication 3D printing or 3D printer familiarity - rapid prototyping

Currently enrolled as a rising junior or senior at an accredited college or university

Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering & SolidWorks CAD certified, or a closely related field

Preferred

Pursuing a Masters degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering & SolidWorks CAD certified, or a closely related field
