Responsibilities

Participate in team status meetings

Assist with basic reports with guidance using templates

Perform fundamental engineering calculations with guidance

Assist with preparing simple reports with guidance using office templates

Modify base files with oversight

Perform basic project due diligence to support design

Address basic nontechnical redlines

Assist with preparing simple exhibits

Provide engineering support to the rest of the project team

Assist with the preparation of engineering drawings

Communicate proactively on projects

Responsible for completing timecards accurately and on time

Perform other duties as assigned

Achieve an 85-90% Billable Utilization Rate. Non-billable activities include company & team meetings, professional development, community involvement, innovation time, culture & engagement activities, learning, and training

Qualification

Engineer in Training certificationCivil 3DBluebeamMicrosoft OfficeCommunication skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field

Engineer in Training (EIT) certification

Demonstrate a basic understanding of and ability to locate local, state, and federal codes and ordinances

This role is an entry-level position

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office

Functional knowledge of Civil 3D and Bluebeam

Strong oral and written communication skills

Valid driver's license and automobile insurance

Required to stand, walk, and sit

The position may require a visit to project sites occasionally

The position requires a normal range of hearing

The employee must be able to lift 40 lbs. occasionally

Requires prolonged sitting with 15% of the time spent bending and reaching

Must have manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator

Noise levels are consistent with a standard office environment
