Workday Integration Senior/Consultant

Responsibilities

Be proficient with integrations for the Workday’s Financials (FIN), Human Capital Management (HCM) and/or Workday Student products
Perform the following as a member of the deployment team: accurately capture the customer’s business requirements, design and build Workday integration systems, demonstrate integrations through the deployment process, assist in testing integration solutions, and complete knowledge transfer to the customer
Collaborate effectively and synergistically on team-based projects
Help ensure the customer remains referenceable once in production
Take advantage of training opportunities to expand your skillset
Work directly with project manager(s) to provide status reports and keep them apprised of overall project status
Work with project manager(s) to identify scope changes and change orders as needed
Strive to innovate and suggest new approaches and tools to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively
Maintain Workday certifications and qualifications

Required

Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or commensurate work experience
Knowledgeable regarding object-oriented programming concepts
Ability to define the object model of a complex business system by mapping its components
Working knowledge of XML, XSD, XSLT, XPath, SOAP, and/or Restful API
Ability to transform large data sets and format them to various outputs using Excel, XML, and XSLT tools
Ability to work with both functional and technical resources to define requirements
Excellent communication skills, oral and written, and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration
Strong analytical skills used to translate information and requirements into documentation and solution design
Experience in technical consulting or as a developer
Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%

Experience working with higher education customers (university/college)
