Document Center Technician
Maine Public Employees Retirement System (MainePERS) seeks a Document Center Technician to join their Document Center Team. This position is responsible for processing incoming documents into the imaging system and supporting business units with mail and document handling. The role requires in-person work in Augusta, ME.

Responsibilities
Processing incoming documents into the line of business imaging system for retention, retrieval, and triggering workflows to the business units
Responsibility for incoming/outgoing mail
Providing support to business units in their daily work
Transport mail, documents and other items to State of Maine offices, the U.S. Postal Service office, banks, and occasionally other local stops
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Four (4) years of experience performing clerical or technical work OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered
Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
Ability to travel within the state; valid driver's license and maintenance of a good driving record
Preferred
Experience using and maintaining an electronic records imaging system
Associate's degree in a related field
