Postdoctoral Research Associate - Radiology
Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Dr. Masatoshi Inoue’s lab, which focuses on the neural circuit mechanisms of maladaptive social behaviors. The role involves developing proficiency in mouse behavior experimentation and neuroimaging, collecting and processing data, and publishing research findings.

Responsibilities
Develops proficiency in mouse behavior experimentation, stereotaxic surgery and fluorescent in vivo imaging
Collects and processes neuroimaging data with Matlab/Python
Presents scientific work both inside and outside the university with excellent oral communication skills
Assists with grant preparation and reporting
Publishes research findings in reputable scientific journals
Maintains compliance with good laboratory practice including the maintenance of adequate research records
Engages in open and timely discussion with their mentor regarding possession or distribution of material, reagents, or records belonging to their laboratory and any proposed disclosure of findings or techniques privately or in publications
Adheres to all applicable university policies, procedures and regulations. All data, research records and materials and other intellectual property generated in university laboratories remain the property of the university
Qualification
Required
Ph.D., M.D. Or Equivalent Terminal Or Doctoral Degree
Develops proficiency in mouse behavior experimentation, stereotaxic surgery and fluorescent in vivo imaging
