Managing litigation cases from initial filing through resolution
Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery with precision and clarity
Conducting legal research and preparing detailed case analyses
Communicating proactively with partners, clients, and opposing counsel
Attending hearings, depositions, and mediations as needed
Collaborating on strategy and trial preparation with senior attorneys
Provide high level support to partners on complex cases, taking ownership of key tasks and ensuring deadlines are met
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an accredited law school
Licensed in Oregon
Minimum 2+ years of civil litigation experience
Exceptional legal writing and analytical ability
Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively
Preferred
Washington license strongly preferred
Experience in medical malpractice or long-term care defense is a plus, but not required
