Responsibilities
Assist in establishing new business opportunities
Disseminate qualified prospects to the sales team
Assist with planning the marketing focus, executing the marketing strategy, and documenting results
Assist with maintaining records of all interactions with qualified prospects and communicating to sales team
Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise
Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales team
Assist engineers in design, prototyping, assembly, and fabrication of new and existing products
Visiting farm sites to inspect customer equipment and establish repair plans
Occasionally perform repairs on customer equipment at customer job sites
Territory will expand Montana and part of western North Dakota
Remote position, training required in Fargo for 6-12 months
Qualification
Required
Effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively communicate information about the company in a positive manner to prospective clients
Ability to build strong, influential relationships, maintain confidentiality, and exhibit professional composure
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective time management skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Ability to quickly adapt to change and work with diverse customers
Experience and technical knowledge of equipment
Valid driver's license and clear driving record
Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Ability to read and interpret technical engineering documents and drawings
Comfortable using a computer for various tasks
Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, work hard, and handle uncertainty
Physically strong, agile and dexterous, ability to lift at least 40 lbs
Ability to travel 40-60% of the time
Strong work ethic, integrity, moral character, and initiative
Farming or Mechanical background and/or experience in farming industry
