Responsibilities

Provide legal assistance and counsel on upcoming marketing campaigns and editorial materials before publication (this includes providing legal insight and research on customer-facing marketing assets and internal marketing strategies)

Collaborate with legal team members on specific internal legal education and training materials and build the knowledge base around items that cross multiple lines of business

Qualification

JD from ABA-accredited law schoolMember of a State Bar5+ years legal experience3+ years marketing reviewIn-house marketing experienceContract draftingNegotiation

Required

JD from an ABA-accredited law school

Member of a State Bar

5+ years of relevant legal experience

3+ years of marketing material review

Preferred

Has worked directly in-house and partnered with a marketing team

Experience reviewing website content, online campaigns, promotions, sweepstakes, and press releases to ensure compliance with marketing & advertising laws

Experience drafting and negotiating a wide variety of contracts as they relate to marketing and advertising
