Responsibilities
All Essential Functions of a Mechanic 1, Mechanic 2, and Foreman
Be able to lead 10+ people
Responsible for quarterly 1-on-1 input to Field manager
Interact with field manager to recruit, select, and oversee performance management (performance planning, develop, promotion, layoff, review, and termination) of direct reports
Interact with counterparts to achieve individual division goals
Interact with manager and form and develop a strong, effective, streamlines processes and systems that consistently assure performance and excellence in service and value
Assist with developing Service Titan CSG processes and systems
Demonstrate safe and proper ladder usage
Demonstrate safe and moving/lifting techniques
Demonstrate proper safety actions and ability to identify risk factors involved in lift usage
Understand the importance of following General Construction and Haller Safety protocols
Ability to understand how to identify risks on the job and handle unsafe situations including General Construction unsafe practices
Able to coordinate the installation with other trades on the job
Be able to coordinate the electrical installation and issues that come up with the installation
Ability to read and follow MEP drawings
Ability to develop and set up Prefab assemblies for prefab to prebuild for projects
Ability to set up delivery of tools, lifts, storage containers, and materials from our shop to job sites
Assist manager with scheduling and ordering equipment and parts for new jobs
Order and release material/ equipment through purchaser or vendor
Perform a two week look ahead
Perform Daily Huddles
Schedule subs to perform tasks we are hiring them for – (concrete, Core Drill/ Cut Holes, excavator, line/bucket truck, lifts, etc..)
Performs all other duties assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the field
Know the IMC code
OSHA 30 Certification
Manlift Certification
Pettibone Certification
Forklift Certification
