Mid LevelSwitchboard Hiring is looking for a Structural Engineer (EI) on behalf of our client, Cronin Engineering. In this role, you will design and analyze structural systems, conduct inspections, and collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities
Design and analyze structural systems for diverse projects - from residential renovations to small commercial builds, working on short timelines in a fast-paced environment
Spend 20-40% of your time in the field conducting structural inspections, foundation assessments, and forensic evaluations
Collaborate & communicate directly with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver innovative solutions that meet tight deadlines
Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents while ensuring compliance with building codes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
EIT (Engineer in Training) certification
Proficiency in structural analysis software
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience with residential and small commercial projects
Knowledge of building codes and regulations
Preferred
Experience with forensic evaluations
Familiarity with construction documentation
Project management experience
Interest in specialization areas within structural engineering
