Responsibilities

Provide project, geographic and technical leadership in the coastal engineering and restoration program
Perform analysis and design of coastal restoration projects including marsh restoration and beach nourishment
Work on shoreline protection projects including revetments and breakwaters
Engage in navigation projects including dredging, marinas, and harbors
Create plans and specifications for coastal projects
Manage projects and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams

Required

Qualified coastal engineers with the ability to perform analysis and design of coastal restoration projects including marsh restoration and beach nourishment
Ability to perform analysis and design of shoreline protection projects including revetments and breakwaters
Ability to perform analysis and design of navigation projects including dredging, marinas, and harbors
Expertise in creating plans and specifications
Project management experience

Preferred

Familiarity with wave growth and transformation
Familiarity with coastal and estuarine hydrodynamics
Familiarity with littoral processes
Familiarity with sediment transport
Familiarity with marine dredging
Basic knowledge of geotechnical or structural systems
