Responsibilities

Design electrical interconnection processes and equipment such as laser welding
Provide interconnect Design for Manufacturability (DFM) & Reliability (DFR) input to product designers
Validate and optimize processes from early prototype builds through full volume production
Drive proof-of-concept to green light new and novel methods, technologies, and suppliers
Evolve the electrical interconnection knowledge base through experimentation and benchmarking

Required

3+ years of engineering, or equivalent relevant experience
Experience developing and implementing electrical interconnect processes and equipment in high-volume production (laser welding, ultrasonic wire bonding, ultrasonic welding, soldering)
Proficiency in geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) and experimental design
Capability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
Degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials, or equivalent experience
