Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections/preventative maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing elevators, alterations equipment, audio/video and lighting
Overseeing the housekeeping contract
CAM responsibilities
In house set up and breakdown for events in collaboration with corporate
Maintain and repair spa facilities, including four showers, to ensure optimal performance and hygiene standards
Oversee the indoor landscaping, ensuring plant health and aesthetics
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and customers
Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and service
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies
Assist in budget management for maintenance and repair operations
Qualification
Required
At least 5 years of experience in building engineering or facilities maintenance, preferably in a luxury retail or hospitality environment
High School Diploma or equivalent
Full-time position, 40 hours per week, with potential for overtime
Must be available for on-call emergencies and weekend shifts as needed
Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and energy management systems
Knowledge of landscaping maintenance and care
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field preferred
Universal EPA Certification
OSHA 30-hour Safety Training
Building Operator Certification (BOC) or equivalent
HVAC Technician Certification
Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) or Facilities Management Professional (FMP) preferred
