Responsibilities
Oversee Casino Audit in the performance of daily work and compilation of numbers for the daily operating report
Manage the month-end closing of the casino accounting records
Review supporting documentation for balance sheet accounts
Prepare monthly gaming tax returns, quarterly and annual licenses
Respond to questions and requests from the Nevada Gaming Control Board, Internal Revenue Service, Internal/External Auditors and other regulatory agencies
Review and sign checks as requested
Participate in the annual budgeting process
Prepare end of year filings including W-2G’s and 1042’s
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required

Excellent analytical, problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent English and articulate
Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results
Computer literate in Microsoft Windows and Excel applications
Knowledge of accounting/auditing functions and knowledge of Gaming Control Board Minimum Internal Control Standards
Knowledge of Count Room procedures and accounting for gaming revenues
Knowledge of cage transactions and procedures
Knowledge of casino department's revenue transactions and procedures
Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration
Minimum age requirement of 21
THIS POSITION REQUIRES A GAMING LICENSE BY THE NEVADA GAMING CONTROL BOARD
Preferred
Bachelor's or related degree preferred
5-10 years progressive experience, including holding managerial roles, in or related to casino finance & accounting
