Responsibilities
Responsible for managing and enhancing personal lines product performance in assigned region by leveraging insights across a variety of internal and external sources, conducting root cause analysis and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Analyzes internal and external data to fully understand profit, production, competitive position and market trends to develop strategies to drive profitable growth
Responsible for profits/losses in assigned product/territory
Develops long- and short-term plans for their assigned product/territory with State Executives
Leverage market research to identify growth opportunities withing the assigned product/territory
Takes leadership role in special projects as assigned by State Manager
Work with underwriting team to adjust appetite to improve performance, profitability, and agent experience
Collaborate with internal partners in Underwriting, Analytics, Actuarial, IT, and Claims to understand profitability, market opportunities and potential system changes
Trains and develops product analysts
Coordinates state and home office legislative and regulatory affairs providing input on key bills and regulation
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent High school diploma or equivalent required
Six years of related experience in insurance Product Management
Demonstrated leadership skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to secure 'buy-in' and convince others regarding best approach
Goal oriented team player with a positive attitude
Excellent time management skills
Strong relationship building
Preferred
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, specifically in a mathematical or statistical field
