Aircraft Maintenance Technician
George J. Priester Aviation is seeking a passionate and self-motivated individual to serve as the Associate Aircraft Technician for Hawker 4000 aircraft. The role involves performing all phases of troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on assigned aircraft, ensuring compliance with Federal Air Regulations and manufacturers' requirements.

Responsibilities
Perform, or oversee the performance of, and document scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft and support equipment
Do necessary inspections using precision instruments to measure parts for wear and use
Comply with tool calibration requirements. Communicate and document all inspections and calibrations with Priester Maintenance Control
Travel to aircraft locations to support owner aircraft in Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations or arrange repairs through outside vendors. On occasion travel on the owner aircraft for test flights, troubleshooting or at the owner's request. Coordinate release of aircraft with Maintenance Control
Performs receiving inspection on all incoming parts and components
Responsible for assuring that the company’s goals for safety, security and quality are met by continual compliance with the company Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting through the appropriate process any safety, security or quality recommendations or non-compliance observations
Maintain working knowledge of, and compliance with, the highest ethical and legal standards related to aircraft maintenance
Maintains complete and accurate database of maintenance activity and inventory
Travel as needed. Estimated travel is 30%

Required
Passionate and self-motivated individual
Ability to perform all phases of troubleshooting, repair and maintenance on assigned aircraft
Ability to inspect required items and maintain Company operated aircraft in a continuously airworthy condition in accordance with applicable Federal Air Regulations (FARs) and Manufacturers requirements
Experience in performing or overseeing the performance of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft and support equipment
Ability to do necessary inspections using precision instruments to measure parts for wear and use
Compliance with tool calibration requirements
Ability to communicate and document all inspections and calibrations with Priester Maintenance Control
Willingness to travel to aircraft locations to support owner aircraft in Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations
