Responsibilities
Has exceptional operational understanding of HVAC systems including split systems, DX systems, glycol, controls, etc
Ability to train customers and contractors on use of equipment
Performs standard Preventative Maintenance duties on all HVAC Equipment efficiently and without requiring supervision
Troubleshoots and diagnoses problems, change out compressors, failed parts, etc. on all A/C equipment
Has knowledge and ability to proficiently solder, braze refrigerant lines, water lines, etc
Communicates daily with dispatcher reporting job by job information about equipment ID, estimated time to complete job, labor hours and parts used
Communicate and work together with sales associates and senior leveled associates with customer solutions
Diagnose network issues and work with a variety of vendors to achieve successful unit integration in building management systems (BMS)
Has ability to read, interpret, utilize and train on schematics and control circuits
Manages larger Start-up and Commissioning projects
Directs team of installing contractors
Efficiently completes the turnover of equipment to owner
Interfaces with the customer on a professional basis and presents HVAC and ETS in a positive light
Presents self as a senior representative of the company
Assists in training of the HVAC Field Assistant Technicians
Properly handles refrigerant, reclaimer, vacuum pump and other essential tools
Works in a safe manner
Follows industry standard safety practices including knowledge of MSDS, tool safety, equipment safety and ladder safety guidelines
Properly operates and maintains Company Vehicle
Adheres to all company policies
Has experience with VRF systems
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years' experience in Commercial HVAC
Proficient working with HVAC equipment
Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel
Universal Refrigerant Certification
Valid driver's license
Excellent customer service experience
Available to perform scheduled on-call & overtime duties
