Faculty Specialist, Accounting

Must be capable of teaching tax, financial accounting, and managerial accounting courses
Must be able to effectively serve as a faculty adviser for student clubs and the VITA tax program
Willingness to actively serve on university and college committees
Must be able to effectively engage with high school students and parents at recruiting events
Meet AACSB standards for being professionally qualified to teach accounting courses
Must have an interest and experience in engaging in research is considered a plus
Qualification
Required
Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S
Capable of teaching tax, financial accounting, and managerial accounting courses
Able to effectively serve as a faculty adviser for student clubs and the VITA tax program
Willingness to actively serve on university and college committees
Able to effectively engage with high school students and parents at recruiting events
Meet AACSB standards for being professionally qualified to teach accounting courses
Master's degree in business
Hold an active CPA license
Practical experience in tax
Proficiency with accounting software commonly used in public accounting
Strong written and oral communication skills
Preferred
Master of Accountancy or MBA in Accounting
Tax, Compliance, and Planning section CPA license
Interest and experience in engaging in research
