Senior FP&A Analyst

Responsibilities
Analyzing actual results, forecasts and trends. Providing analysis of forecasts as compared to actual results, previous forecasts, etc. Monitoring variances, assessing the forecast process and proposing processes to improve the reliability of forecasts
Coordinating with HR business partners to lead the headcount forecast process and reporting on headcount actuals and forecast
Leading the standard reporting of financial information including sales and cost detail by major programs, expense reporting, free cash flow, etc. in order to help ensure the divisions and group are meeting financial goals and highlighting any areas which may require special attention to help achieve group goals
Using critical thinking and knowledge of the business to perform financial analysis, summarize results in a concise manner, and influence business outcomes
Assisting with the preparation of the 5-quarter P&L and Free Cash Flow forecast
Supporting the annual budget process by working across functions within the business
Progressing the visibility of business drivers through the use of data visualizations and AI
Working on special projects and perform other ad hoc duties
Less than 5% travel
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accounting
At least five years of experience in the areas of cost accounting, FP&A, or financial reporting
Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
Critical thinking skills and demonstrated curiosity with the ability to proactively identify and resolve problems
Financially astute with a solid understanding of business metrics, financial metrics, and reporting requirements across multiple levels of the organization
Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with multiple functions and levels across the business
Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel
Ability to relocate to East Aurora, New York (Western New York area)
Preferred
Master's Degree in Business or Finance/Economics
Experience with OneStream, SAP, and/or PowerBI
Manufacturing and/or aerospace industry experience
