Responsibilities
Shape maintenance and supply chain management for an international fleet of fighter jets by leading engineering efforts on a cross-functional client-facing team
Design and develop systems, evolving them with advanced technology solutions
Broaden skillset into areas like data model management, Agile development, and AI application
Merge system architecture and automated pipeline testing to create a lifecycle approach to aircraft sustainment information systems
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in systems engineering
Experience with application architecture framework
Experience with software development practices, including full-stack development
Experience with pipeline development, testing, automation, and all continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) best practices
Knowledge of U.S. networking, global information systems, and information systems with multiple servers and boundaries, such as cloud-based systems
Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and systems engineering practices
Knowledge of project management techniques, applications, and processes
Ability to prepare and present verbal and written presentations to various levels of government and industry management
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Software Engineering field
Preferred
7+ years of experience in systems engineering in a DoD aircraft, weapons system, or information system acquisition office
Knowledge of model-based systems engineering tools such as Cameo
Ability to manage and direct a team of engineers and other personnel as an integrated unit
