Responsibilities
Submit clean electronic & paper claims
Post payments and manage daily deposits
Prepare and send patient statements
Follow up with insurance companies and consumers
Resolve billing issues and discrepancies
Monitor delinquent accounts & set up payment plans
Generate billing reports and support monthly reporting
Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance
Qualification
Required
Experience in medical or behavioral health billing
Strong Excel skills (formulas, filtering, pivot tables)
Familiarity with EHR or billing software
Understanding of claims submission and payer guidelines
Excellent communication, customer service, and attention to detail
High School Diploma required
