Start in 2026 SummerLangan Engineering & Environmental Services is a leading firm providing expert land development engineering and environmental consulting services. They are seeking an Environmental Intern / Trainee to support project managers on environmental and remediation projects, gaining practical field and office experience.

Responsibilities
Provide support to project managers and function as a trainee, learning office and field skills related to environmental clean-up and/or remediation projects
Serve as a field representative
Perform soil and groundwater sampling
Monitor construction sites
Compile data and prepare reports
Perform data entry, table preparation and file management; and
Other duties as requested
Qualification
Required
High school diploma; preference will be given to Science / Engineering students actively enrolled in an undergraduate degree program
Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment
Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours per week
Reliable transportation to office and job sites
Preferred
Preference will be given to those candidates residing in the following zip codes, as per public client contractual terms: 94124, 94103, 94107, 94105, and 94134
