Responsibilities

Oversee IT processes in a fast-changing international environment, interfacing with Global IT Responsible and ensuring that Group processes and systems run efficiently
Provide leadership for development, implementation and delivery of Local IT solutions ensuring alignment with Global IT guidelines and standards and Group’s business objectives
Provide support on development of Global business solutions, coordinating local activities and local teams involved
Ensure continuous process improvement through transformation activities supporting changes to services, people, processes, and tools
Working closely with Executive and Senior Business Local ‘focal points’ becoming a trusted advisor which understand business needs, catch up Local demands and ensure Local Budget allocation on IT activities in line with Global ITS targets
Enable IT processes planning, development, and execution in the Local Hubs/Locations, leveraging on Service Management (ITSM) best practices
Support on innovation projects ensuring alignment with Global Digital Strategy, facilitating communication, and ensuring business objectives are met together with quality requirements
Support external resource planning, allocation, and supervision
Manage day-to-day activities of internal and/or external team members. Review and evaluate own staff and peers and prepare annual performance reviews. Work with team members to define development plans and set goals and objectives
Collaborate with Global IT to develop strategic and digital vision to drive continuous improvements on IT technology, processes and services
Lead cross functional teams (IT and Business) to execute priorities and commitments, ensuring alignment and application of Global guidelines and standards
Manage and oversee planning and implementation of business solutions (technology, applications, processes and training) in accordance with Global IT standards
Develop and manage the relationship between IT and local internal and external partners (business counterparts, service providers...)
Support and advise Business stakeholders in key technology decisions in accordance with Global IT guidelines (e.g., selection of external partners, evaluation of in-sourcing and/or outsourcing alternatives, business plans/priorities establishment and tool selection...)
Be responsible of all the local applications and infrastructure, acting as first point of contact for IT support to local internal customers
Oversee local IT performance ensuring activities execution according to defined SLA's and agreed deliverables
Collaborate with Global IT to plan and implement upgrades/deployment of IT applications and infrastructure
Work closely with both local and global project team members for resources allocation and prioritization definition
Drive local demand management process and ensure that Business needs are captured, assessed and evaluated according to Global IT strategy and priorities both on infrastructure and application area
Identify and communicate any deviation from demand management process and implement corrective actions in agreement with Global IT
Collaborate with Digital Champions to manage Digital innovation demand process and provide support in Digital Innovation activities
Participate in the budget process as key local focal point, ensuring alignment with Company Strategic plan and IT Portfolio and supporting Head of Global Business Solution in local Budget definition
Support in audit, regulatory and compliance activities
Provide periodically standardized status reports, managing risks and issues, communicating across Local and Corporate project managers and escalating where necessary
Ensure work is performed in accordance with Group delivery methodology, policies, and standards
Responsible to apply all the existing guidelines / regulations etc. for all the current regulations adopted, with specific focus on the GxP guidelines / Quality Guidelines / SOD guidelines

Required

A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in IT function
A minimum of 5-6 years of managerial experience
Experience in the Healthcare industry (pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices) or equivalent
A minimum of 6 years of experience in Project and Program Management in international and multi-cultural environment
Experience in regulated environment (life science/pharma industries), ideally operating in both multi-channels B2B and B2C (preferable)
Master's degree or equivalent (STEM and Economics preferable)
Strong Knowledge of Project Management, Agile Methodologies and approaches for IT project and activity management
Excellent written and spoken English – other languages an advantage
Strong analytical skills and capability
Good knowledge of Professional Office suite and collaboration tools
Good knowledge of Demand Management processes
Knowledge of IT Financial Management and IT Portfolio management
Knowledge of Resource Management
Good leadership capabilities, being effective in leading change
Ability to partner with Business to analyze and understand business goals and requirements
Work collaboratively in a team-based environment: inspire, motivate and support the team to get things done
Problem Solving through analytical approach
Organize work effectively, conceptualize and prioritize objectives/tasks
Engage and communicate effectively with different internal and external Stakeholders leveraging on informal and formal communication

Preferred

PMP / PRINCE 2 @ Certification (Project in Controlled Environments) (preferable)
Scaled Agile Methodologies (preferable)
Good knowledge of Project management tools (preferable)
Pharmaceutical or Health Care Operating model knowledge, including related regulations (preferable)
Understanding of ITIL practices (preferable)
Additional knowledge on tools includes: ServiceNow, Smartsheet, Jira (preferable)
