The role involves performing general and preventative maintenance on heavy equipment, ensuring all repairs meet Carvana standards, and maintaining accurate records of the work performed.

Responsibilities

Perform general and preventative maintenance for all heavy equipment in our fleet in alignment with Carvana standards (including brake and tire repair)

Inspect all equipment regularly and perform light diagnostics, troubleshooting, and electrical work

Maintain accurate and proper records for all repairs performed on our fleet (including parts records)

Replace and repair all tires within the TIA parameters and guidelines

Pass and maintain the DTNA Warranty course

Required

At least 6 months experience in Heavy Class 8 Mechanical Industry or a similar industry

Valid Driver's License

Must have your own tools to complete daily tasks, specialty tools will be provided by Carvana

Requires standing for extended periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking and stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors due to vehicle maintenance

Must be able to carry and transport up to 60 pounds up to 20 feet

Ability to communicate and interact with others effectively in a professional, courteous manner

Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both written and oral
