Responsibilities
Analyze insurance policies and draft coverage opinions and recommendations
Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis; prepare detailed memoranda
Draft and review pleadings, briefs, discovery documents, motions, and other legal correspondence
Prepare formal communications to opposing counsel and other parties
Participate in depositions, hearings, and mediations as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 4 years of practice focused on third-party insurance coverage advice and litigation
Strong legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Capacity to manage sensitive and time-critical matters, often simultaneously
Proven ability to prioritize and resolve issues efficiently
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
Admission to practice law in Georgia
Minimum of 4 years of experience in complex third-party insurance coverage litigation
Significant experience in professional liability
Solid litigation background
Preferred
Familiarity with D&O, cyber-risk, and media policies is a plus
