Responsibilities
Provide thought leadership and comprehensive direction for end-to-end SAP architecture, integrating global industry standards and leading best practices
Continuously monitor the SAP Roadmap, new innovations, and ecosystem changes, assessing both their impact on the client's current environment and potential opportunities for improvement
Lead the design and architecture of cutting-edge SAP solutions, including SAP S/4HANA, translating complex business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions
Employ sophisticated design patterns to optimize system performance and scalability, ensuring resilient and reliable integration of SAP solutions with other enterprise applications
Develop and maintain architecture blueprints, detailed technical specifications, and supporting documentation
Ensure the deployment of necessary components within the SAP ecosystem to support automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and operations management, including automated change management, testing, compliance, and performance monitoring
Serve as the definitive SME for SAP architecture and related technologies
Remain current with the latest SAP developments, best practices, and industry trends, proactively guiding the organization
Ensure all SAP solutions adhere strictly to industry/country regulations and the organization's rigorous security standards
Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to maintain optimal functionality and high availability of SAP environments
Collaborate closely with product owners, digital partners, business analysts, developers, and key strategic vendors (including SAP) to ensure seamless integration and alignment of SAP solutions with core business processes
Effectively communicate complex technical concepts, including SAP roadmaps and a 3-5 year product lifecycle horizon, to both highly technical and non-technical stakeholders
Foster a collaborative, innovative work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and a culture of continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field
A minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in SAP architecture, design, and implementation
Proven track record of successfully leading major SAP projects and strategic initiatives
Extensive knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW4, and Datasphere, along with other core SAP systems and modules
Strong understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and experience with SAP RISE
Experience with the use of microservices to expose access to SAP functionality outside of the core SAP ecosystem
Experience with SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Solution Manager, or CI/CD pipelines tailored for SAP environments
Knowledge of SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Data Intelligence, or integration with third-party Business Intelligence (BI) tools
Proficiency in ABAP programming and SAP Fiori/UI5 development
Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Proven strong leadership and project management skills, with experience guiding cross-functional teams
Strong networking skills to build and maintain relationships with SAP key contacts assigned to our client's account and across the wider SAP organization
Preferred
Master's degree
Experience utilizing SAP S/4HANA and related modules within a Healthcare manufacturing and distribution environment
Experience with Azure
